Vote with a Mail In Ballot

GburgMailIn

This year the City of Gaithersburg is making it easier than ever to vote with a mail-in ballot!

Mail-In Ballot Applications were mailed to all registered voters and should be arriving in your mail the first week of September.

You don't have to wait for the form though - you can simply go on-line and fill out an electronic Mail-In Ballot Request Form!

CLICK THIS LINK for the form.

You may also request an Application by calling 301-258-6310 or via email at cityelections@gaithersburgmd.gov.

To return your completed Mail-in Ballot, you can mail it via USPS or drop it off at one of the six Ballot Drop Boxes conveniently located throughout the City. CLICK HERE FOR A MAP of ballot box locations

Early voting for the 2021 City Election will take place at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park on a Saturday and Sunday, October 23 & 24, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Same-day voter registration is available during Early Voting sessions. City residents who are registered to vote in Montgomery County are automatically registered to vote in City of Gaithersburg elections.

In 2021 there will only be one polling site (Vote Center), the Activity Center at Bohrer Park. It will be used for both Early Voting and on Election Day. If you choose to vote in-person, you must vote at this Vote Center. Voters requiring accommodations may use the Danaher 1242 Electronic Voting machine, which will be also be located at the Vote Center.
